Veteran NFL analyst Rich Eisen reacted to Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam addressing the Arch Manning rumors. According to the Roku radio host, Haslam could have handled the situation in a much different manner.

Haslam answered a question on rumors attaching the Texas Longhorns QB to the Browns, saying, "If you know the Manning family— and I don’t know Arch at all— I’d bet he stays in college two years. I don’t think that’s worth discussing."

However, according to Eisen, addressing his team would have been a smarter strategy than putting it on the Manning family.

Eisen re-enacted the situation on the Rich Eisen show on Monday, as the Browns owner, and offered this as the answer Haslam could've given: "We are not going to have the first overall pick in this year's draft. I believe in our roster. I believe in our coaches. I believe in the quarterback room we currently have."

After saying this part, according to Eisen, the Browns owner could've added the statement around the Manning family and the lack of chances of Manning announcing for the draft next year.

In addition to this, the radio host also called out the Arch Manning-Nick Saban- Cleveland Browns theory that was floating around.

He broke down the scenario where that happens, and the things that would have to happen for something like that to happen are absurd.

So first, Manning would have to have an equal to or better debut season than Joe Burrow. Since that is the only way that his family and he think there's nothing left to learn in college. Otherwise, he'll stay a Texas Longhorn for the next two years.

On top of that, the Browns would need to be struggling for them to again be in the mix.

However, they'll also need legendary former Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban to have an itch and go back to coaching a team where he already tried coaching before.

Eisen offered this entire breakdown and said it wouldn't be possible that all of these things fall into place. For the Browns, it would be better if this doesn't happen.
