The Philadelphia Eagles could have an easier path to another NFC East title if one of their division rivals loses a top receiver before the 2025 NFL season.

The NFC East has been a beast over the years when it comes to how competitive it can be each season, and the Philadelphia Eagles are trying to do something no team has done in over two decades.

The Birds won their second Super Bowl last season after capturing the division and having the second-best record in the regular season, but as Nick Sirianni's team looks to go back-to-back one of their top rivals is having drama down in Washington D.C.

Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders could look drastically different during the 2025 NFL season after star wideout Terry McLaurin demanded a trade Thursday, according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter.

Unfortunately for the Commanders, they appear to be victims of their own failure after other NFL teams paid their best wide receivers, including the Eagles giving big extensions to both A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith.

McLaurin has been a staple of Washington's offense for years, and especially with a promising young quarterback like Daniels the Commanders will need to do everything they can to keep continuity on their offense.

However, McLaurin isn't making it easy for the team after turning 29 years old and demanding over $30 million per season.
