Ashour Denies Demands

Egyptian Presenter Ahmed Shobeir offered different version. Speaking on radio, he relayed his chat with Ashour:

"I asked him about demands of EGP 85M or 100M. He swore it wasn’t true and said: I didn’t initiate any talks. It was the club who approached me"

Ashour clarified that he belongs to Al Ahly’s top salary tier and that negotiations are ongoing but insisted:

"There’s no tension. I’m happy, comfortable and being treated with full respect"..
