Blue Jays' Seranthony Dominguez had a wild doubleheader trade day from Orioles

You don't see this too often.

The scene really hit home when Seranthony Dominguez walked to take his seat in the Toronto Blue Jays' bullpen for game two of Tuesday's doubleheader in Baltimore.

He had to walk right by the Orioles' bullpen to do so, which isn't that unusual for most visiting pitchers.

It was for Dominguez, though, because he had just been in that bullpen for game one.

Baltimore traded Dominguez between games to the Blue Jays. He just had to walk over to the visiting clubhouse, get a new uniform and head out to the 'pen.

Sometimes you see a player get traded from one team to another as they take part in a series against each other.

But to go from one team to another in the middle of a doubleheader between the clubs? That might be a new one.

Dominguez even got into the game.

He threw a scoreless inning with two strikeouts in his Blue Jays' debut against the team that he literally hours before had been a member of.

Thus is business this time of year. The closeness of this deal just emphasizes it and drives the point home more.

It probably wasn't too difficult for Dominguez initially. It'll get tougher when more human considerations kick in, like packing to leave Baltimore to take to the air with the Blue Jays. At least he's at what was his home base to be able to pack up and get ready.

He may also hope he's not bad luck. The Blue Jays were swept in the doubleheader on Tuesday.

Dominguez should be a strong pickup, and Toronto shouldn't have a problem bouncing back from one rough day.

Picking up a new bullpen star always helps, and the Blue Jays should be back in flight soon enough.
