Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic is keeping himself busy amid the NBA offseason.
In May, Doncic trended online after he posted photos of his training at Real Madrid. Fans quickly took notice of his improved physique, providing optimism that he'll have a big year in his first full season with the Lakers in 2025-26.
It also looks like Doncic has been working on his future with the Lakers. Recently, a report emerged claiming that the Slovenian star is set to sign an extension with the Purple and Gold once he's eligible to do so on August 2.
On Sunday, Doncic appeared to provide a hint about what he'll do next as he continues his eventful offseason. On his Instagram Stories, he shared an image promoting Jordan Brand's "The One" tournament scheduled to take place in the U.S.
"NYC. Chicago. LA. See you soon," Doncic wrote, seemingly suggesting that he would be present at the tournament events in those areas.

According to Nike, "The One" is a global tournament for male and female hoopers aged 15 to 18. It's also described as "a premier competition that showcases the next generation of elite one-on-one basketball players vying to be crowned The One."
The qualifiers for the tournament started in May, with the final set to take place in New York this August. Details about the final and other qualifiers have yet to be provided, but clearly, Doncic is taking an active role in promoting the event as a Jordan Brand ambassador.
It is interesting to note, however, that Doncic could be in L.A. on August 3. As mentioned, he'd be eligible to sign an extension with the Lakers a day before that, so plenty of eyes will be on him and what he does in his return to the U.S.
