Frisco’s ‘Silicon Valley of Golf’ Hosts PGA Buying Summit With $102M Economic Impact

The PGA Buying Summit is currently taking place at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort and features a record number of vendors and representation of over $500 million in retail sales.

The PGA of America called Frisco in a news release about the event the “Silicon Valley of golf,” adding that the summit features PGA of America executives and representatives for leading golf brands and manufacturers.

This event, which runs from Monday to Wednesday, hosts a total of 187 vendors, including 26 vendors from Texas.

Additionally, the summit is also expected to represent a total of $525 million in retail sales while also providing an impressive $102 million in direct economic impact.

The PGA of America stated in the news release that this event will provide “exclusive first access to Spring 2026 fashion, cutting-edge golf innovations, top-tier education and elite-level industry networking at world-class facilities at the Home of the PGA of America and in the heart of PGA Frisco.”

Overall, there are 36 U.S. states and nine international countries being represented at the event, which includes more than 1,000 attendees.

As previously reported by The Dallas Express, the PGA Buying Summit will also feature the Summer Jam Golf Festival on Tuesday night, which will turn the PGA District into a nighttime event filled with live music, golf competitions, giveaways, and vendor showcases.

North Texas families are welcome to attend this festival, which is set to run from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the PGA District.

Live music at this event will be provided by The Emerald City Band, a Dallas-Fort Worth favorite, on the PGA District event lawn.

Those who attend the PGA Buying Summit will also receive access to a lighted 10-hole short course called the Swing.

Finally, the event will include a free shuttle service throughout the campus for attendees, which is being provided by the Excessive Golf Carts, Golf Cars of Dallas, and Grapevine Golf Cars.
