Barcelona are currently enjoying a good pre-season in Korea, following their first match in Japan against Vissel Kobe. However, after their first match in Japan, one of their first-team players suffered an injury that is worrying both the technical and medical staff.
The player in question is Spaniard Eric Garcia, who, according to Sport, did not train with the group on Tuesday during the full training session due to a slight muscle strain in his left leg.
How serious is the player's injury?
Although the player was injured, he was training individually at the same time the group was training as a whole, so it seems that the anxiety felt by Barcelona's technical team is unnecessary and that things will proceed well.
🚨 Eric Garcia did not train with the group this afternoon in Seoul due to an overload. During the cooling break in the first half against Vissel Kobe, they already treated his left leg.

The central defender, who was used by German coach Hans Falki as a right back in his first season, will apparently have a major role with the team next season, as expected.
Rather than risking further damage, the player has embarked on a carefully customized rehabilitation program specifically designed to protect the affected muscle tissue. This conservative approach reflects an abundance of caution from the medical team, with initial assessments indicating the injury poses no significant threat to his future participation. The tailored recovery process aims to ensure complete healing before returning to competitive action, with all signs currently pointing to full availability once the precautionary measures have served their purpose.
