Buffalo might need new wideouts.
The Buffalo Bills signed Deon Cain on Monday, but they're testing out a few other veteran wide receivers, too.
The Bills have injury worries at the WR spot, and so they held workouts for a pair of veterans.
According to the NFL transaction log, it was Justyn Ross and Willie Snead who were in upstate New York to work out for Buffalo.
Snead once was a borderline star for the New Orleans Saints, but that was a long time ago. He's well into his journeyman days now.
Ross was a collegiate star at Clemson as a top recruit, but he's never really made it work in the NFL. He does have a Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs.

Buffalo doesn't appear to have a ton of long-term wideout absences, as things stand, so maybe Cain's signing earlier Monday is all they'll need.
But now, the Bills have gotten eyes on a few other guys with legitimate talent. If they need another WR, they know who to sign.
There's always a chance Snead and Ross didn't look good enough and wouldn't be who the Bills would call on, anyway.
But they both have good enough pedigrees that if the Bills need them, they could fill in well enough.
