One of the biggest storylines swirling around the Cowboys training camp this offseason has nothing to do with X’s and O’s; it’s all about the standoff between Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons.

The star linebacker has been holding back from full participation, waiting on a contract extension the Cowboys seem in no hurry to offer. But fans aren’t staying quiet about it. During a recent training session, as Jerry addressed the crowd, chants rang out loud and clear: “Pay Micah!” The message? Cowboys Nation has picked their side and they’re riding hard for No. 11.

A clip making the rounds on X shows Jerry Jones chatting with fans, reflecting on last season and sharing his big hopes for the one ahead. But honestly, the crowd wasn’t all that interested in his future plans.

They had one thing on their minds: Micah Parsons’ contract. Fans made it crystal clear: they want Jones to pay Parsons, plain and simple. And can you blame them? Parsons has been the heart of the defense ever since he stepped into the league.

Parsons is heading into the final year of his rookie deal in 2025, and he’s not shy about wanting a new contract.

In a chat in The Undertaker's podcast "Six Feet Under," he said the Cowboys had a chance to get it done early but dragged their feet now the market’s only gotten pricier with stars like Myles Garrett and T.J. Watt landing huge deals.

Jones, on the other hand, voiced caution, pointing to past injuries and long-term risk. Needless to say, if he thinks Parsons is not worth the money he will have no shortage of teams waiting in line offering him significant money to join them.
