The Las Vegas Raiders were forced to make massive adjustments to their roster this offseason after a lackluster campaign in 2024 that resulted in only four wins. New leaders Pete Carroll and John Spytek wasted no time trimming the fat from the previous regimes.

This included wide receiver Ramel Keyton, who starred in the preseason last year and signed a two-year deal with the Raiders as an undrafted rookie. However, he failed to make an impact in the regular season and was waived just before the 2025 NFL Draft.

On Saturday, former Tennessee Titans first-round wide receiver Treylon Burks suffered a broken collarbone at the team's training camp practice. NFL Insider Tom Pelissero reported that the Titans were signing Keyton in the wake of Burks' injury.

Keyton only played in eight games for the Silver and Black last season, catching one pass for seven yards on three targets. He made the initial 53-man roster in Las Vegas, however, after catching five passes for 84 yards in two preseason games.

Burks' career in Tennessee has been marked by being injury-prone and underperforming, so the Titans went out and added a handful of receivers this offseason. Notably, they signed veterans like Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson.

New general manager Mike Borgonzi also invested two draft picks in Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor, wide receivers from Florida and Stanford. He also took a flyer on No. 1 pick Cam Ward's favorite target at Miami, wide receiver Xavier Restrepo.

This means that Keyton will, once again, have an uphill battle to make the roster. At nearly 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, he has the proper size to be an NFL receiver, but he needs to prove to Titans head coach Brian Callahan that he can produce at this level.

Keyton played collegiately for the Tennessee Volunteers, so this is a bit of a homecoming for the second-year pro.
