The Miami Dolphins have signed three cornerbacks in the last three days, with two coming Saturday morning. The Dolphins announced the signing of former Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Mike Hilton just hours after signing former Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots cornerback Jack Jones.

Hilton has spent eight years in the NFL, starting his first four seasons with the Steelers before joining the rival Bengals for the next four seasons. The veteran corner has played in 123 games in his NFL career, starting in 56 games.

The 30-year-old will bring a veteran presence to a young cornerback room in Miami. Hilton has accumulated 520 tackles, 66 tackles for loss, 56 passes defended, 32 quarterback hits, and 13 interceptions. He's also forced four fumbles and recovered six fumbles to go with a pick-six.

Hilton had a strong 2024 season with the Bengals, collecting 63 tackles, five passes defended, an interception, and tying a career-high with 12 TFLs.

The reports of the signing came in ironic timing as the Dolphins had just finished up practice Saturday morning. The Dolphins saw two more cornerbacks leave the field with apparent injuries Saturday, moments after the signings of Jones and Hilton.

Kader Kohou limped off the field with an apparent right leg injury, and BJ Adams was carted off at the end of practice, although it's believed to be for precautionary measures.

Kohou walked by the media after practice on his own power with not much of a limp, which is promising news. However, as the Dolphins have added three cornerbacks in three days, they've also watched Artie Burns go out for the season, and now Adams and Kohou leave practice hobbled, and it's just the first week.
