The Indiana Fever were back in business against the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday.

Indiana was looking to snap a two-game losing streak, having previously lost back-to-back games to the New York Liberty.

The Fever were playing without Caitlin Clark, who's been sidelined for plenty of time this season due to injury, but they were able to receive a fiery spark from head coach Stephanie White.

During the matchup against the Aces, White received a technical foul for what was described as a non-call by Indiana Fever writer Chloe Peterson.

"White gets irate with the ref after a non-call, going out onto the court, and she immediately gets called for a technical. (pretty bad non-call imo)," Peterson said.

Stephanie White is currently in her first season back with the Indiana Fever. She previously served as an assistant coach for the team from 2011 to 2014 and as head coach of the Fever from 2015 to 2016.

White was also a previous player for the Fever, having competed in Indiana from 2000 to 2004.

Before accepting the role as head coach of the Fever for the 2025 WNBA season, White was the head coach of the Connecticut Sun, having been named Coach of the Year (2023).

The Indiana Fever have now played 13 games without Caitlin Clark. She missed time earlier in the season due to a leg injury and is now working through a groin injury.

During her second season in the WNBA, Clark has posted 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists in 13 games.
