It did not take long for the Atlanta Falcons to start making roster moves during training camp. Some surprising moves were made on day one.

Former Green Bay Packers cornerback Kevin King was released on Thursday. King would see the field in 15 games last year for Atlanta and start one. During that time, he would contribute 10 tackles with one fumble recovery on defense.

Undrafted rookie free agent Cobee Bryant has been added to the (Non-Football-Injury list). Indications suggest that Bryant suffered an injury off the field, and he will not receive payment while on the list. Bryant must also miss four regular-season games.

Also joining the (NFI) are defensive tackle LaCale London and linebacker Malik Verdon. Both would be long shots to make the active roster. Bryant, however, is a fan favorite, and most believe he would have the best opportunity not only to make the active roster but also to start. This will indeed hinder his chances of sticking around in Flowery Branch for the duration of camp.

Falcons head coach Raheem Morris would comment on Cobee Bryant after the 2025 NFL Draft by saying, “Cobee is the most famous undrafted player I've ever been around," said Morris ahead of rookie mini-camp. "I mean, my kids know him. It's unbelievable, all the stuff that he has and the accolades. But when you go back and watch the tape, you're not shocked that he's well-known. The amount of players that he's played against and the guys that he's able to compete against when you watch his tape is exciting."

Bryant was predicted to be a mid to late round pick in the NFL Draft, but slipped out of it for unknown reasons. Now, he will face a disadvantage in his first-ever NFL training camp.
