The Steelers signed offensive lineman Sataoa Laumea to a reserve/futures deal, the team announced Monday.
Laumea was a sixth-round pick in 2024 by the Seattle Seahawks. He played college football at Utah. During his rookie year, the 6’4, 319-pound offensive lineman started six games at guard. However, the Steelers announced him as an offensive tackle.
Laumea was released ahead of the 2025 season by Seattle. He briefly spent time on the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad afterwards. In December, he was one of 12 linemen who the Steelers brought in for a tryout.
