The Oklahoma City Thunder were given a high offseason grade after they made three major decisions.

It has been a relatively quiet offseason for the Oklahoma City Thunder, which was to be expected as almost their entire core from last season are set to return next season.
Of course, the Thunder are coming off a dominant season that they were able to cap off with a championship, the franchise’s first since relocating to Oklahoma City.
With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren leading the way, the Thunder are set to be a threat in the Western Conference for years to come, especially with the amount of young talent on their roster and plethora of future draft capital.
The only moves the Thunder have made this offseason outside of the draft was signing their star trio to max contract extensions and by doing so, they received a B offseason grade from Bleacher Report’s Grant Hughes.
“The Thunder locked down the top-end talent necessary for them to make a serious title defense, and their glut of future draft picks and affordable other deals (many of which feature team options) might allow them to keep the core together for another half-decade or more. That's a remarkable feat in the second-apron era,” Hughes wrote.
Hughes makes a great point about how the Thunder are set up perfectly to possibly become a dynasty during the second-apron era, something almost every other team around the league has struggled to do.
Of course, Oklahoma City will have some tough decisions to make in the future with Shai, Williams and Holmgren all on max contracts but they should be able to sign some of their young players to cheap deals in the future.
They will also be able to replenish their roster, when need be, with draft capital thanks to general manager Sam Presti.
Due to this, the Thunder have had an incredible offseason and they will enter next season as the clear team to beat as they try to win back-to-back titles.
