Augsburg's Kristijan Jakic had to be substituted at half-time of their 2-2 Bundesliga draw with Freiburg after being injured on the tunnel stairs on Sunday.

The 28-year-old suddenly clutched his leg on the steps and then spoke to two staff members before limping away.

Elvis Rexhbecaj replaced Jakic and made it 2-0 in the 49th minute.

The bizarre game also included a six-minute suspension due to fan flares making visibility impossible. Former Freiburg frontman Michael Gregoritsch also handled the ball on the line before apologizing as Igor Matanović knocked in the rebound for 2-2.
