A number of pre-season friendlies take place this afternoon as clubs ramp up their preparations for the new campaign.

Liverpool suffer defeat against AC Milan
Goals: Szoboszlai 26' Gakpo 90+3'; Leão 10', Loftus-Cheek 52', Okafor 59', 90+4'
Rafael Leão opened the scoring for AC Milan after 10 minutes after a swift counter-attack from the Italian side, before a curled effort from Dominik Szoboszlai levelled the scoreline before half time.
Milan restored their lead in the second half through Ruben Loftus-Cheek before Noah Okafor added a third before the hour mark.
Liverpool pushed to get themselves back in the game as they dominated possession, and it was Cody Gakpo who pulled one back late on in stoppage time.
However, a mistake from new signing Giorgi Mamardashvili and Kostas Tsimikas gifted Milan a fourth as Okafor scored his second of the game.
