FSU adds a new kicker
The Florida State Seminoles already added one kicker in Oklahoma State’s Gabe Panikowski, but they decided two would be better than one. Kicker Conor McAneney has also decided to call Tallahassee home in 2026, officially signing with the Seminoles on Saturday.
The 6-foot-3, 190 pound McAneney has a fascinating background. He hails from Northern Ireland and played Gaelic football prior to attending college. This past season as a freshman at Quincy, he saw action in 11 games and made seven of 10 field goals attempts (one was blocked) with a long of 45 yards. He went 4-4 on PATs.
McAneney was Quincy’s kickoff specialist, averaging 60.2 yards per attempt with 16 touchbacks on 49 total kickoffs. He will likely help with kickoffs for the Seminoles.
