Aaron Rodgers was a beast!
NFL Makes Post About Aaron Rodgers Before Steelers QB's Final Season originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
While Aaron Rodgers hasn't seen a lot of success since his split with the Green Bay Packers in 2023, there's no denying that he remains one of the most talented quarterbacks the NFL has ever seen.
Drafted in the first round of the 2005 draft, Rodgers didn't start until the 2008 season after Green Bay moved on from Brett Favre. Once Rodgers took over, though, it didn't take long for the Packers to dominate en route to winning the Super Bowl in 2010.
Rodgers' mental fortitude, coupled with his arm strength, rapid release, accurate throw and scrambling ability, allowed him to really shine and establish himself as one of the best quarterbacks in league history.
Now, ahead of the 2025 season — which is likely Rodgers' final campaign in the pros — the NFL looked back at some of the best highlights in his career and emphasized how great of a quarterback he is.
"Aaron Rodgers’ ball placement is pretty much unteachable," the NFL wrote, along with 11 clips showing Rodgers' incredible accuracy.
The post quickly drew plenty of reactions, with several fans noting how talented Rodgers is.
"Aaron Rodgers. The most talented nfl player all time," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "most talented qb ever."
"Rodgers is the greatest QB ever in terms of talent," a fan added.
A supporter remarked, "Greatest Thrower Of All Time."
"most accurate qb ever," a follower stated.
A sixth social media user noted, "People that don’t know ball will say he isnt top 5 all time still."
Is Aaron Rodgers Retiring After the 2025 NFL Season?
Rodgers joined the Pittsburgh Steelers this 2025 offseason after two disappointing campaigns with the New York Jets.
At 41 years old, though, Rodgers acknowledged that he doesn't have much time left in the league. In an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show in June, the four-time NFL MVP shared that he's "pretty sure" it's his last year.
"That's why we just did a one-year deal — Steelers didn't need to put any extra years on that or anything," Rodgers said, per NFL.com. "This was really about finishing with a lot of love and fun and peace for the career that I've had. I mean, I've played freaking 20 years, you know? It's been a long run, and I've enjoyed it. What better to place to finish than in one of the cornerstone franchises of the NFL with Mike Tomlin and a great group of leadership and great guys and a city that expects you to win."
It will definitely be interesting to see if Rodgers will be able to show the same talent, accuracy and arm strength that made him one of the most dangerous QBs in the league. Sure enough, with 2025 being his final season, hopes are high that he would go out with a bang.
