You’ve had your time to think.
To call yesterday something of a whirlwind would probably be an understatement. The Phillies went from a team that was seemingly on the verge of adding a huge free agent to their roster on one hand to bringing back a key piece of their team and it being something of a disappointment on the other, heads were whipping back and forth like crazy.
Now that we know how the team is probably going to look once the season begins in late March and you’ve had a day to digest it all, how are you feeling about Bo Bichette signing with the Mets, Kyle Tucker ending up in Los Angeles and J.T. Realmuto returning for three more years?
For me, this is still a roster that can get into the playoffs and go on a run if things break their way. You may scoff, but isn’t that how all teams are? Getting into the playoffs is the name of the game outside of actually winning the World Series, but a team can’t do that if they don’t even make it in.
