But in a bizarre YouTube video with his father and brother, the 35-year-old appeared to confirm he is going to the US - unless it is all a ruse.
"25 years at Bayern. Every day was great. Even if it's over now," Müller said in the clip. "Today is Saturday, tomorrow is Sunday and the day after tomorrow is Monday – and then suddenly it's all over. Then it's off across the pond," he adds before riding away on the horse.
