Drawing Board: A New Start… and Instant Aging
Finn’s latest artwork captures one of the cruel, hilarious truths of Real Madrid: the job ages you at warp speed.
At the top of the frame, optimism reigns. A baton is passed, a “new start” is announced, and the promise of fresh ideas hangs in the air. The race begins cleanly. Hope is light. The legs feel young.
Then comes the scoreboard.
A single result — a 3–2 loss to Albacete — and suddenly the passage of time accelerates. The same figure who began the race with composure and clarity is unrecognizable below: eyes wild, face hollowed out, spirit visibly eroded. The transformation is brutal, exaggerated, and instantly familiar to anyone who has followed Real Madrid long enough.
