Myles Garrett had an eventful offseason. After having yet another phenomenal individual season, finishing third in Defensive Player of the Year voting, Garrett made his wants extremely public.

Garrett publicly expressed his desire to win paired with the fact that he wanted a new, lucrative long-term contract.

Well, in March, Garrett received the former. Garrett signed a four-year, $160 million contract extension with the Cleveland Browns. At the time, Garrett was the highest paid non-quarterback in the NFL (T.J. Watt has since surpassed Garrett).

As for the former, the winning part, Garrett will remain with the Browns for the foreseeable future. The Browns are fresh off a 3-14 season, and have made the playoffs just twice during Garrett's eight-year tenure with the team.

Garrett, now 29 years old, continues to express his desire to win, and be great, every chance he gets.

On Wednesday, Garrett revealed his expectations for the Browns, and himself, this season from training camp.

"I expect to get to the Super Bowl. That's our expectation every year. I expect to run back Defensive Player of the Year. So, keeping both of those things in mind, I have to be the very best player I can be every single day. Whether we're practicing or playing, as soon as I step foot in the building, I have to be the best version of myself and the best leader I can possible," Garrett said.

The former No. 1 overall pick has 102.5 career sacks and won Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. As per FanDuel Sportsbook, Garrett is the third favorite to win the award again at plus-750, trailing Micah Parsons and Aidan Hutchinson.

However, as per FanDuel Sportsbooks, the Browns currently stand as the longest shot in the AFC to reach the Super Bowl at plus-12000. And their over-under for wins this season is 5.5 wins.

While Garrett's face and demeanor appeared extremely sincere as he spoke to reporters on Wednesday, it's hard to imagine a world where the Browns find themselves competing in the Super Bowl this season.
