Kentucky vs. LSU Injury Report: Dedan Thomas doubtful; Jayden Quaintance out

Another missed game for JQ.

The Kentucky Wildcats are looking to get back to .500 in conference play tomorrow night as they head to Baton Rouge for a date with the LSU Tigers.

The injury bug has bitten the Cats once again as they look to gain some momentum heading into the heart of their conference schedule, while also looking to pick up their first road victory.

Unfortunately, that luck will not be in the team’s favor Wednesday night.

In Tuesday’s injury report, two Cats have been listed as out: Jaland Lowe and Jayden Quaintance.

Lowe comes as no shock after news of his season-ending shoulder surgery broke on Monday night. However, Quaintance missing another game is notable.

After returning against St. John’s and playing limited minutes since, the talented big man helps raise the floor of this team, especially defensively. Mark Pope and his staff are for sure going to hope he can return to the floor soon.

For LSU, they could potentially be without starting guard Dedan Thomas, as he was listed as doubtful for tomorrow night’s game, so he’s unlikely to play.

A name familiar to the BBN, Thomas was recruited by the staff this past offseason before committing to LSU. He has played well during his time in Baton Rouge, averaging 16.2 points, 7.1 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game. If he is out, it definitely makes you feel better about the Cats’ chances in Baton Rouge.
