Season 2 of Overtime Select is on the way, and with a major partnerships to boot.
The eight-team league, which showcases the top teenage women's basketball players in the country, is set to tip off on August 2, and is the first high school women’s basketball league of its kind, providing a platform for young female athletes to gain the resources, investment and visibility they deserve. The league’s partnership with e.l.f. Cosmetics is an example of this, as it shows the increased investments from brands towards every level of women’s sports.
This partnership, in particular, includes hosting brand-building workshops, launching the first-ever "Dream Tryout" that gave under-scouted prospects a chance to play for a roster spot and activating glam stations and "Show Your Colors" nights that celebrate identity, inclusivity and self-expression.

The next goal for the league? To build upon the first season’s momentum, where they established an impressive social presence of 316K followers and attracted sponsors like Adidas, Gatorade, Delta, and State Farm. Of their partnership with e.l.f., Patrick O’Keefe, Chief Integrated Marketing Officer at e.l.f. Beauty, says, "Empowering. Legendary. Females. is the purpose behind this partnership."
He continues: "At e.l.f., we use our voice and reach to meet girls at a critical crossroads — a time when many walk away from sports and self-confidence. By teaming up with Overtime Select, we’re helping them stay in the game, stay true to themselves, and see every goal as within reach."
More updates are expected once the season starts.
