Toto and Susie Wolff have been spotted cruising around the streets of Monte Carlo in the Mercedes Formula 1 team chief's Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster.

The 300 SL Roadster, produced from 1957 to 1963, succeeded the Gullwing coupé, which is also featured in Wolff's garage. The roadster is powered by a three-litre straight-six engine, capable of producing 215 horsepower, accelerating from 0-62mph in 8.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 155mph.

With just 1858 units ever built, reports value the sports car at a staggering $1million to $1.5million.

Wolff's car collection is also understood to include the Mercedes-AMG ONE and previously a Ferrari F40, Mercedes-Benz SL 65, Ferrari LaFerrari and Ferrari Enzo.

This comes ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season, which welcomes a wave of new regulations to the championship. With Mercedes' previous success in the 2014-21 hybrid era, expectations are high for the Brackley outfit to find similar success this year. Wolff has been sure to manage those expectations, though, as the team prepares for the pre-season testing.

"Well, I would very much hope so. But I'm a notorious pessimist, and the glass is always half empty rather than half full," the Mercedes team chief explained during a Mercedes debrief video.

"And we've set ourselves targets on the power unit and the same on the chassis. Whether those targets were ambitious enough, whether we have missed the trick... whether our execution is going to be as faultless as it should be? I don't know.

"We're going to see some glimpses of performance balance in testing late in January and then in Bahrain. But I think the name of the game is going to be the constant development of the tools throughout the season."

For F1 Academy managing director Susie Wolff, the 2026 season for the all-female racing series will begin at the Shanghai International Circuit in China for the first round from 13-15 March.
