Bears NFC playoff bracket: Chicago advances to Divisional Round with win over Packers

The Chicago Bears shocked the football world and beat the Green Bay Packers.

Whether we think the Chicago Bears were playing with house money or not, it still would have stung losing to the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs. But thankfully, THAT’S NOT SOMETHING WE NEED TO WORRY ABOUT!

The Chicago Bears did it again. They came back in the second half to shock the Packers and the entire sports world, winning 31 to 27.

This team never quits. This team believes in each other, and not even a 21-3 halftime deficit phased Ben Johnson’s team.

In the first half, the Packers, in their third consecutive postseason and sixth in seven years, looked like a team ready for the moment, while the Bears took a while to get started, and it looked bleak for the Navy and Orange.

But this isn’t the same old Bears.

As they’ve done all season, Chicago showed heart in the second half to make it interesting.

Green Bay hit back, but the Bears kept punching.

The Bears’ offense woke up behind Caleb Williams’ 184 fourth-quarter passing yards, and Dennis Allen’s defense only allowed six second-half points.

In a season of the improbable comeback, tonight’s was historic, as the 18-point comeback is the largest postseason come from behind win in franchise history.

I’m still processing what I saw tonight, but our Chicago Bears will host another playoff game next weekend.
