Brady Prieskorn looks to make a name for himself in Oxford
Michigan tight end transfer Brady Prieskorn committed to a future with Ole Miss this weekend after two years in Ann Arbor with the Wolverines.
Yes, it’s the same Prieskorn as Rebel favorite Caden Prieskorn who played two fantastic seasons at tight end. Brady finished high school as the No. 3 player in the state of Michigan and a four star prospect signing with his home state Wolverines.
The 6’6” 250 lbs. sophomore was mostly used on special teams and in multiple tight end packages in his second year. During his senior year in high school, he logged 33 catches for 665 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Prieskorn name will undoubtedly bring some expectations from fans as his brother showed out in his brief time in Oxford. These two brothers look like carbon copies of each other from pictures with Brady maybe even looking a little taller and thicker.
Ole Miss in theory has Caleb Odom and Luke Hasz coming back next season though neither showed the production first stringer Dae’Quan Wright commanded in games where he did not play. Whether Prieskorn can come in to challenge for a starting role or at least push the returning tight ends is yet to be seen. Odom posted 19 catches for 197 yards and two touchdowns while Hasz had only three catches for 28 yards and a Sugar Bowl touchdown this season.
