Roma awaits Giacomo Raspadori’s approval between today and tomorrow with renewed confidence and optimism.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that sporting director Ricky Massara has been in direct contact with the striker’s entourage and has insisted on reaching a full agreement after a final agreement was reached with Atlético Madrid for approximately €20.5 million.
The player, called up by the Colchoneros for the Spanish Super Cup, will face Real Madrid today in Saudi Arabia and then retire to his office to make a final decision.
So far, Raspadori has played 13% of the available minutes, and with Roma’s interest, the first doubts have arisen about his future: after all, the Giallorossi are fourth and have Champions League prospects, as well as the possibility of having valuable players like Dybala and Soulé in their squad.
Roma are confident they’ve played their cards right, and Gasperini is eager to coach Raspadori.
