These two are crushing Kentucky men’s basketball.
I don’t know anymore, man. This Kentucky Basketball team has shown flashes, but they’re just not there when it comes to contenders.
Heck, are they even an NCAA Tournament team after their 73-68 meltdown against a Missouri Tigers program that had NEVER won at Rupp Arena?
Leading 66-58 with 4:34 to play, that’s a game, at home, you have to close out. Plain and simple. Instead, Kentucky did everything you could possibly do to lose a game. Defensive breakdowns, turnovers, bad shots, missed shots, everything.
There’s still a lot of season left. Maybe Missouri is better than we thought. But man, it is getting late early.
MVP: Otega Oweh
It has to be. He played great Wednesday night, with 20 points, three three-pointers, five rebounds, four assists, four steals, and a near 80-foot heave at the first half buzzer. He’s far from the problem right now. That’s a good thing.
It’s really unfortunate that Oweh’s final season of college basketball is being wasted like this.
