There's nothing like a beautiful weather day in Pasadena, California for the Rose Bowl.

That's not what parade participants and football fans are going to get on Thursday, though.

It's a rainy day ahead of the Indiana-Alabama clash in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal.

It's not obvious that it's going to get much better, either.

Rain, rain and more rain.

This is what the AccuWeather summary says:

"Heavy rain and a thunderstorm this morning followed by a couple of showers this afternoon; watch for flooding; wear rain gear for the parade and football game."

The high temperature is 64 degrees.

At the scheduled 1 p.m. local time game kickoff, chance of precipitation is 60% and the temperature will be 62 degrees.

The only good news is that the wind will only be gusting at five miles per hour.

The sun won't be coming out, and chance of rain remains about 50% throughout the course of the game.
