He has been a special teams forced
Tommy Eichenberg, drafted in the fifth round in 2024, hasn’t made much of an impact at linebacker so far in his his young career.
However, the Ohio State product has become a strong continue for the Las Vegas Raiders as a special-teams player. In fact, he’s made some history.
The hard-hitting Eichenberg has 21 tackles on special teams so far this season. According to the Raiders’ public relations department, is the third most in the NFL by an special-teams player this season and it is the most by a Raiders’ player since special teams tackles became a stat in 1994.
So, Eichenberg is giving the team some solid value.
