It’s a full day of college football, culminating in the first of the CFP quarterfinals tonight. On the agenda:

12 p.m. | No. 14 Vanderbilt vs. No. 23 Iowa | ReliaQuest Bowl (ESPN)

Can Diego Pavia avoid mistakes against Iowa’s patented rock fight defense? Will one of his brothers get arrested in the stands (again)? The only way to know is to tune in!


2 p.m. | Duke vs. Arizona State | Sun Bowl (CBS)

This is not the least compelling game of bowl season. Butnit’s probably not the most compelling, either. You have to do something while the blackeyed peas soak, I guess.

3 p.m. | No. 13 Texas vs. No. 18 Michigan | Citrus Bowl (ABC)

Arch Manning and Bryce Underwood are being paid a combined $6 million in NIL deals this year (not including endorsements) and I think we can all agree that this Cheez-Its Bowl matchup was what their respective boosters were hoping to get for that money.

3:30 p.m. | No. 15 Utah vs. Nebraska | Las Vegas Bowl (ESPN)

Our first look at a Kyle Whittingham-less Utah against Dylan Raiola-less Nebraska. Well, I guess you gotta watch something while you wash your New Year’s collard greens.

7:30 p.m. | No. 2 Ohio State vs. No. 10 Miami (Fla.) | Cotton Bowl (CFP Quarterfinal, ESPN)

This one , however, is of interest. We’ll find out who Georgia could potentially take on in the Fiesta Bowl if they can engineer a win over the Fightin’ Widespread Petes in the Sugar Bowl.
