With all 16 teams for the knockout stage already confirmed, the final day of the group phase will decide the last four matchups for the round of 16 at the CAN 2025.
Groups E and F will deliver their verdicts this Wednesday, December 31, with Algeria’s top spot the only certainty so far. The Desert Foxes face Equatorial Guinea as they aim to maintain their perfect record. After wins over Sudan (3-0) and Burkina Faso (1-0), Vladimir Petkovic’s men will look to claim a third straight victory and build even more confidence ahead of the knockout rounds.
In the group’s other game, Sudan and Burkina Faso, both on three points, will battle for second place to avoid a round-of-16 clash with Senegal. A draw will be enough for the Stallions to secure that spot.
