The Notre Dame vs USC PR war continues to be fought on the internet, and Brady Quinn takes up the sword.
It’s ridiculous that this has come down to this, but the internet battle about the demise of the Jeweled Shillelagh Rivalry between Notre Dame and USC and the fallout surrounding it all, is continuing to rage. It’s all kinds of ridiculousness right now with Lincoln Riley and USC sycophants trying to rewrite recent history. It’s caused all sorts of takes from all over, including Joel Klatt’s recent word vomit on Colin Cowherd’s show to talk about how scheduling Notre Dame doesn’t help anyone.
Seriously — what the hell?
Klatt, a corporate shill for FOX and the Big 10, just cherry picks facts and does some mental gymnastics while never coming around to the point of THIS IS A MAJOR NATIONAL RIVALRY and the entire sport is better off with its existence.
But what should you expect from someone like Klatt on a show like Cowherd’s?
Enter former Notre Dame quarterback and current FOX analyst, Brady Quinn.
Quinn isn’t buying any of the bullshit coming out of Southern Cal or their media allies. Quinn went on FOX Sports Radio and went nuclear on Lincoln Riley, Jenn Cohen, and USC.
The sad fact of the matter is that as long as Lincoln Riley is hanging around Los Angeles, this rivalry will never be renewed. It’s even sadder that this great American sport is ran by a bunch of cowards who just don’t get IT and never will.
