The defender is back after some time away.
Ronald Araujo made a very welcome return to Barcelona on Monday as the club held an open training session in front of supporters after the festive break.
The Uruguay international, who has taken some time out recently, was back with his team-mates as Hansi Flick put his players through a light session at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
It’s still not clear when Araujo will return to competitive action for Barcelona, but it’s certainly good to see him back at the club and working out with the rest of the players.
Hansi Flick’s side are currently gearing up for a Catalan derby clash with Espanyol on January 3rd and then a trip to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup.
Dani Olmo was also spotted training with the group on Monday as he works his way back to full fitness after suffering a dislocated shoulder against Atletico Madrid.
The Spain star is expected to miss out on the game against Espanyol but should make the Super Cup squad.
