HAPPY BIRTHDAY, 61!
Despite a disappointing season for the Bengals, it sure was a fun Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati against the Arizona Cardinals.
The Bengals dominated the Cardinals in all three phases of football and have done whatever they wanted, including something that made every Bengals fan smile.
This Sunday was a special one for Cody Ford, as it was the 29-year-old’s birthday, and the Bengals decided to line him up as an outside receiver late in the third quarter.
Ford not only caught a pass but stunned us all with his stellar YAC down the sideline.
Bengals fans were chanting “Cody” as the Bengals capped off the drive with a Chase Brown goal-line touchdown run, and it has been all Cincinnati this afternoon.
Ford has become a guy the Bengals staff looks at as a solid backup plug-and-play kind of guy for the offensive line, and he deserved some love today for his birthday.
The Bengals now have one final game this season against the Browns before moving into what feels like a make-or-break offseason in Cincinnati that Ford will be part of since he’s under contract through 2026.
