Seattle will face the Panthers without franchise left tackle Charles Cross who is still recovering from a hamstring injury.
The first place Seattle Seahawks currently sit atop both the NFC West division and the conference, and Week 17 has the team on the road looking to stay perched atop both.
That won’t be an easy task, though, as the opponent is the Carolina Panthers, coached by former Seahawks assistant coach Dave Canales, who has his team looking to clinch a playoff berth of their own while also taking on the top seed in the NFC for the third time already this season. In Week 9 the Panthers defeated the then 5-1-1 Green Bay Packers, and in Week 9 Carolina upset the Los Angeles Rams 31-28, so now Canales and his crew is looking to make it 3-0 against top seeds on the season.
When the Seahawks take to the field they will be without Charles Cross for the second straight week, but week starting safety Coby Bryant will also not suit up due to a knee injury suffered in Week 16.
So, the full list of inactives is:
- QB Jalen Milroe
- OL Bryce Cabeldue
- OL Mason Richman
- OL Charles Cross
- LB Jared Ivey
- DL Brondon Pili
- S Coby Bryant
