PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — Kendrick Green is now a Brown.
The former Peoria High School star lineman has signed with the Cleveland Browns after spending most of the season on the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills.
The Browns intend to put him on the active roster, according to the team’s announcement of the signing. Brown, who will join the team for Sunday’s home game against the Steelers, will wear number 52.
Brown, a former University of Illinois All-American offensive lineman, was selected by Pittsburgh in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft. He’s played in 36 career NFL games with Pittsburgh and Houston.
