Here are the Cincinnati Enquirer's high school football all-star teams for the 2025 season.
The 2025 high school football season saw multiple teams in Greater Cincinnati make history with undefeated regular seasons.
The postseason provided quite the thrill with several jaw-dropping moments, incredible finishes, a regional final at Paycor Stadium, and two teams advancing to the 2025 Ohio state championships.
Here are The Enquirer's 2025 all-city teams for each division in Ohio, plus Northern Kentucky and Indiana.
Ohio
Division I
Offensive player of the year
Ryder Hooks, Lakota East: He was co-offensive player of the year in Ohio and offensive player of the year in the district. The Mr. Football finalist had 286 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a Week 1 win over Centerville. Thanks to five games with 200 rushing yards, including a school-record 321-yard performance against Colerain, he ended the season with 2,032 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Defensive player of the year
Derek Uran, Elder: He was co-defensive player of the year in Ohio and defensive player of the year in the district. He led a unit that allowed 15 points per game in going 12-1 and reaching the regional final. He had 104 tackles, nine sacks and 23 tackles for loss.
Co-coaches of the year
Doug Ramsey, Elder: He led the Panthers to a 12-1 record including their first 10-0 regular season since 1991.
Steve Specht, St. Xavier: He led the Bombers to an 11-3 record and the state final, avenging regular-season losses to league foes Elder and Moeller in the postseason.
Kali Jones, Middletown: He led the Middies to an 11-3 record, their best since 2011, and the state semifinals.

Owen Scalf, Anderson: The junior quarterback led the Raptors to a 14-1 record and state runner-up. He threw for 1,961 yards and 41 touchdowns and rushed for 677 yards and eight TDs. He was co-offensive player of the year in Ohio.
Defensive player of the year
Brady Kuhn, Anderson: The senior linebacker led the state runner-up Raptors to a 14-1 record, leading a unit that allowed 15 points per game. He led the defense with 125 tackles, 61 solo, with nine sacks and 28.5 tackles for loss. He was the defensive player of the year in the district and co-defensive player of the year in Ohio.
Coach of the year
Evan Dreyer, Anderson: He led the Raptors to a 14-1 record and the Division II state final for the second straight year.

Lance Cantrell, Talawanda: The senior running back led the Brave to a 10-2 record after rushing for 2,523 yards and 30 touchdowns. He was the co-offensive player of the year in Ohio and the offensive player of the year in the district.
Defensive player of the year
Alex Pate, Badin: The senior linebacker helped the Rams to a 10-2 record and led a unit that allowed 18 points per game. He was co-defensive player of the year in the Greater Catholic League-Coed after finishing second on the team with 61 tackles (47 solo), with five sacks and 11 tackles for loss. He was first-team all-district and second-team all-state.
Coach of the year
Andy Stuckert, Talawanda: He led the Brave to a 10-2 record, their first winning season since 2019.

Offensive player of the year
Monsanna Torbert, Taft: The junior quarterback was the district offensive player of the year, leading the Senators to an 11-1 record. He threw for 1,791 yards and 27 touchdowns, and rushed for 375 and four TDs.
Defensive player of the year
Adam Kirtley, Taft: The University of Cincinnati commit was the district defensive player of the year, helping the Senators to an 11-1 record and a defensive unit that allowed only 66 points for the season, including eight shutouts. The senior linebacker was second on the team with 116 tackles (69 solo) with two sacks, 26 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and a pick-six interception.
Coach of the year
John Rodenberg, Indian Hill: He led the Braves to a 13-1 record, their second Cincinnati Hills League championship in three seasons, and the state semifinals for the first time in team history.

Gray Robinson, Williamsburg: The junior helped the Wildcats to a 10-1 record, rushing for 1,151 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was honorable mention all-state and first-team all-district.
DV defensive player of the year
Luke Czarnecki, Williamsburg: The senior defensive back helped Williamsburg to a 10-1 record, leading the team with 91 tackles, 33 solo, 9.5 for loss, two fumble recoveries and one interception. He was the district defensive player of the year and first-team all-state.
DV coach of the year
Greg Conwell, North College Hill: He led the Trojans to an 8-3 record, their first winning season since 2012, after going 3-6 last year. He was district coach of the year.
DVI offensive player of the year
Lucas Cannady, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: He helped the Titans to a 9-2 record and the Miami Valley Conference-White championship. The junior quarterback threw for 1,028 yards and 12 touchdowns, and rushed for 1,481 yards and 17 TDs. He was first team all-district and second team all-state.
DVI defensive player of the year
James Hall, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: He helped the Titans to a 9-2 record and the Miami Valley Conference-White championship. He led the defense in tackles with 120 (51 solo), with 25 sacks and six forced fumbles. He was first-team all-district and first-team all-state.
DVI coach of the year
Kyle Hogan, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: He led the Titans to a 9-2 record and the Miami Valley Conference-White championship, and was district coach of the year.
DVII offensive player of the year
Levi Guttman, Cincinnati Country Day: The junior quarterback led the Nighthawks to a 9-2 record and the Miami Valley Conference-Gray championship. He threw for 1,879 yards and 27 touchdowns, and rushed for 969 and eight TDs. He was first-team all-district and third-team all-state.
DVII defensive player of the year
Brandon Proffitt, Cincinnati Country Day: The senior led the Nighthawks to a 9-2 record and the Miami Valley Conference-Gray championship. He set five all-time school records for defense. He was fourth on the team in tackles with 60, and had a sack and four interceptions. He also scored 17 touchdowns for the team. He was first-team all-district and first-team all-state.
DVII coach of the year
Dennis Coyle, Cincinnati Country Day: He led the Nighthawks to a 9-2 record and the Miami Valley Conference-Gray championship.

Offensive player of the year
Tyler Fryman, Beechwood: The junior led the Tigers with 1,320 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns and added 283 rushing yards and four scores on the ground. He was named the Northern Kentucky Division III Player of the Year and earned All-Northern Kentucky first-team offense and Louisville Courier-Journal second-team all-state honors.
Defensive player of the year
Lincoln Tomlinson, Lloyd Memorial: The sophomore made 149 total tackles, which tied him for fourth place in Class 3A. He also had 16 tackles for loss, recorded 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and an interception as the Juggernauts enjoyed a historic 13-1 season.
Coach of the year
Curt Spencer, Holy Cross: He led the Indians to their first-ever undefeated regular season and an 11-1 final record. Under his guidance, Holy Cross finished with 28 team sacks (third in Class 1A), 62 passing yards allowed (first), 53 rushing yards allowed (first), a 30.3-point average margin of victory (first), seven points allowed per game (first) and 37.3 points scored per game (fourth).

Offensive player of the year
Cam O'Hara, Cooper: The Western Kentucky University signee wrapped up a truly historic career, passing for 2,231 yards and 26 touchdowns to guide the Jaguars to an 8-4 record. He also ran for 47 yards and three scores. O’Hara finishes his four-year career with 11,227 passing yards (sixth in KHSAA history), 146 passing touchdowns (third) and a 40-13 record. He also led the Jaguars to the Class 5A state championship game in 2023 and 2024.
Defensive player of the year
Jacob Savage, Ryle: The Indiana University signee won the Paul Hornung Award as the top high school football player in the state, was named the MaxPreps Player of the Year and earned Louisville Courier-Journal first-team all-state honors. On defense, he made 114 tackles, 13 for loss, recorded two interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He is the Raiders’ all-time leading tackler with 511 career wrap-ups. On offense, he is Ryle’s all-time leading rusher with 2,835 yards and 54 touchdowns to go with 749 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
Coach of the year
Mike Engler, Ryle: He led the Raiders to a second straight Class 6A state semifinal appearance and a 10-4 record. After a three-game losing streak in the first half of the regular season, Ryle responded to win eight straight games to advance to the penultimate week of the season.
