West Ham United want to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen during the winter transfer window, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein. West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo is preparing for life without Niclas Fullkrug at the London Stadium club, with the German expected to join AC Milan on loan. The Hammers want a replacement and an upgrade, and Strand Larsen is on their radar. The 25-year-old notched 14 goals and four assists in 35 Premier League games last term and could be a perfect fit for West Ham.
The Norway international has only scored three goals across all competitions this term, with Wolves struggling and fighting relegation. The Molineux Stadium club are 20th in the table after 17 games having lost 15 times and drawn twice. Strand Larsen will be expected to leave at the end of the season if they go down but West Ham are offering him an escape route next month.
