We break down the fantasy football outlook of Parker Washington ahead of the Jaguars’ Week 16 matchup vs. the Broncos.
Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season continues on this afternoon with an AFC matchup with playoff implications as the Jacksonville Jaguars will visit the Denver Broncos at 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX.
The Jaguars rattled of their fifth straight win in a 48-20 pummeling of the Jets last Sunday and can officially clinch the AFC South title with a win and a loss by either the Colts or Texans this week. Wide receiver Parker Washington made a few big plays last Sunday and they’ll need him in a matchup that could be a postseason preview this afternoon.
Below, we’ll go over Washington’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 16.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars WR Parker Washington
Washington returned to the Jags lineup last week and made a positive impact in their 28-point victory over the Jets, catching all three of his targets for 53 receiving yards. He had missed their matchup against the Colts the week prior due to a hip injury and still put forth a solid day in the victory despite only being on the field for 45% of the offensive snaps.
The third-year wideout has been a helpful hand for Trevor Lawrence throughout the second half of the season with him finish the week as a top-25 fantasy receiver in three of his last six outings. This has coincided with the rest of the Jags receiving core as a whole also stepping up in recent weeks, so we’ll see if he can carve out another explosive performance in this game.
Start or sit in Week 16?
Sit. If you’re looking for sleeper receivers that can help you in your playoff matchup this week, well, you should probably keep looking. On top of the fact that the Denver secondary has cut off opposing receivers from doing much in fantasy, Jacksonville has also been getting solid performances out of Jakobi Meyers, Brian Thomas Jr., and Brenton Strange in recent weeks. There might not be enough targets for Washington to make his mark in this showdown.
