The annual game between Oakland and Michigan State took place on Saturday and the tradition between Greg Kampe and Tom Izzo also continued as the two teams met at Little Caesars Arena.

When their teams meet for this game Kampe and Izzo get into the festive spirit with Christmas sweaters, and this year's chosen attire was one of their best.

Kampe's sweater featured him fist bumping an official with "Nice List" on it. Izzo's, however, showed him arguing with a ref about a call, which is why he had to settle for the "Naughty List."

Kampe is the one who typically picks out the sweaters, but this year it was Izzo, his wife, Lupe, and a neighbor who designs clothing who came up with this year's design.

“It's ok. I mean, I feel like an idiot half the time,” Izzo said Thursday. “How would you like to be Grinch and get a T? Or Santa and get a technical [foul]?"

The two programs began the annual tradition in 1998 when the Spartans helped open up the Golden Grizzlies' new arena. Michigan State has won all 23 previous meetings.
