"College GameDay" predicts Georgia's opponent in CFP

The Georgia Bulldogs will play either Ole Miss or Tulane in the Sugar Bowl. ESPN's College GameDay predicted who will win between the two.

The Georgia Bulldogswill play either the No. 6 seed Ole Miss Rebels or the No. 11 seed Tulane Green Wave from the first round of the College Football Playoff. ESPN's College GameDay staff predicted who would win and move on to face Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. They did their show at Kyle Field in Texas A&M to watch the Aggies play the Miami Hurricanes, a matchup with several Georgia Bulldogs transfers.

The Tulane-Ole Miss game will be televised at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Green Wave will be looking to avenge the 45-10 loss they suffered against the Rebels earlier in the season, while the Rebels will be looking for revenge against Georgia for the 43-35 loss. That Georgia game was the only loss Ole Miss suffered the entire season.

ESPN has given Ole Miss an 84% chance of winning against Tulane, even with head coach Lane Kiffin leaving for SEC rival LSU. A Tulane loss would be the last game of Jon Sumrall's tenure with the Green Wave, as he moves to be the head coach of Florida.
