The Friday availability report offered a clearer picture of what to expect when Miami Hurricanes meets the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday in a first-round College Football Playoff matchup at Kyle Field.

Miami enters the noon ET kickoff short-handed on defense. Linebacker Malik Bryant, wide receiver Daylyn Upshaw and defensive back Damari Brown are all ruled out.

Defensive back Keionte Scott is listed as probable. Despite the absences, the Hurricanes remain one of the nation’s most efficient defensive units, allowing just 283.3 total yards per game, 11th best nationally.

Texas A&M’s report centers on running back Le’Veon Moss, who is listed as questionable after missing the final six regular-season games with an ankle injury. Moss was the Aggies’ leading rusher prior to the setback, totaling 389 yards and six touchdowns. Rueben Owens II filled the void with 618 rushing yards and five scores.

The winner advances to face Ohio State Buckeyes. Miami and Texas A&M have split five previous meetings, with the Hurricanes holding a 3-2 edge. The game will air on ABC
