All of the Aggie news we didn’t write ourselves
Welcome to The Link Farm. This is your update on all things Texas A&M (that we didn’t already talk about in another article). And if there’s something we missed, be sure to talk about it in the comments.
- Men’s Hoops hosts East Texas A&M. The Aggies will look to build on their 112-75 win over Jacksonville as East Texas A&M comes to town. Texas A&M tips off against the school formerly known as Texas A&M-Commerce at 3:00 p.m. Sunday on SECN+.
- Women’s Hoops hosts Prairie View. The Aggies will hope to bounce back from a 63-45 loss to West Virginia last time out. Texas A&M tips off against Prairie View A&M at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
- Soccer fills out staff. Last week, Texas A&M officially announced that Bobby Shuttleworth would be taking over as just the second head coach in program history. Yesterday, Coach Shuttleworth announced that Marc Burch and Ali Hanuf will be joining the staff. Meanwhile, Alyssa Bower remains as an assistant coach and Curt Magnuson stays on as Director of Operations.
- Jamie Morrison named Coach of the Year. The Aggies advanced to the National Championship Match in volleyball yesterday, courtesy of a sweep of Pitt. To go with the chance to play for a championship, Coach Jamie Morrison was also named Coach of the Year for his efforts in leading this squad to an excellent regular season as well as deep into the postseason. The Aggies face Kentucky for the National Championship at 2:30 p.m. CT on Sunday.
