Cross is the only player on the Seahawks who’s inactive due to injury.
The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams have announced their inactives for their gigantic Week 16, potentially No. 1 seed deciding showdown at Lumen Field.
As expected, left tackle Charles Cross is the only injured inactive for Seattle. Jalen Milroe will again serve as an emergency quarterback should Sam Darnold and Drew Lock both get injured, otherwise he’s a healthy scratch. Rookie linemen Bryce Cabeldue and Mason Richman will also not play, while the minor surprise on this list is run-stuffing nose tackle Brandon Pili. He only played five snaps against the Indianapolis Colts and will get none versus the Rams. Undrafted rookie Jared Ivey has seldom played this season and is scratched again, while Dareke Young’s return from injured reserve comes at Jake Bobo’s expense.
The biggest headline name on the Rams who won’t play is wide receiver Davante Adams, who was listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury suffered last Sunday versus the Detroit Lions. It was always a longshot for both Adams and Cross to play given their respective hamstring issues. Meanwhile, the Rams have decided Ahkello Witherspoon won’t contribute after some struggles upon his return from injury. There are really no other surprises on their front, and this does mean that Braden Fiske will play after being listed as questionable.
