Over the weekend, the WNBA’s biggest stars came together for All-Star festivities, which culminated on Saturday night with Team Collier—led by Minnesota Lynx superstar Napheesa Collier—defeating Team Clark, captained by Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark, 151–131. Unfortunately, Clark was forced to miss both the 3-point contest and the All-Star Game as she continues to rehab a groin injury sustained earlier in the week against the Connecticut Sun. On Sunday, Ionescu shared a series of photos on Instagram, including one of her and Clark sitting together in the locker room.

Unfortunately, Clark was forced to miss both the 3-point contest and the All-Star Game as she continues to rehab a groin injury sustained earlier in the week against the Connecticut Sun.
Still, one of Clark’s top selections—and the 3-point contest champion—Sabrina Ionescu made her presence felt all weekend. She logged 20 minutes in the All-Star Game, recording 12 points, seven assists, and two rebounds.
On Sunday, Ionescu shared a series of photos on Instagram, including one of her and Clark sitting together in the locker room. Her caption read, "7th All-Star appearance in the books. Nothing short of grateful!"
Clark quickly turned heads when she dropped a playful six-word comment under the post, seemingly recruiting Ionescu: "Looking real natural in that locker room."
Fans reacted to Clark's comment:
"The splash sisters must be teammates one day!!!" A fan said.
Another person wrote, "future Teammates in Ny."
Someone else added, "SPLASH SISTERS SOON."
"Splash sisters gotta unite in NY, sorry girl! They sent the NY blitz to get YOU over there!" One more fan commented.

Caitlin Clark and Sabrina Ionescu have been two of the most notable and talented players in women’s basketball since their college days—both carrying their collegiate dominance into the WNBA.
While Clark remains under her rookie contract with Indiana through 2028, Ionescu is set to become a free agent during the 2026 offseason. Though still a long shot, the timeline opens the door—at least hypothetically—for the possibility of Clark and Ionescu teaming up in the future. Realistically, such a pairing would most likely have to happen in Indiana.
