Caitlin Clark may not have suited up for the WNBA All-Star Game, but that didn’t stop her from being the talk of the weekend. With the festivities taking place in her new home city, Clark was still very much in the spotlight this time from the sidelines.

Despite being sidelined with a groin injury, the Indiana Fever star showed up with her usual energy, supporting both her current WNBA teammates and a few familiar faces from her college days. And if her former teammate’s latest post is anything to go by, Clark is still soaking in the special memories from a weekend to remember.

Gabbie Marshall, Clark’s former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate, posted a picture with a caption that said, “Indy, you did not disappoint.”

This drew reactions from Clark, who commented not once but twice on the post, saying, “Was so up” and “Love you !!!!”

Caitlin Clark might not have suited up for the All-Star Game, but she wasn’t going to let an injury stop her from enjoying the weekend.

The Indiana Fever hero, who injured her groin earlier in the week, was all smiles as she took in the festivities, surrounded by family, friends and a city buzzing with excitement. Clark admitted it was frustrating getting hurt just before such a big event, but she was determined not to miss the moment.

“It’s disappointing not to play, sure, but I’m still here, and that means a lot for me and for the fans,” she shared.

Despite being sidelined, Clark made it clear she was soaking up every bit of the experience before shifting focus back to recovery. With a growing list of injuries this season, she’s not alone in the struggle, but she’s staying positive and enjoying the ride while it lasts.
