Philadelphia making a sneaky move.
There was a bit of surprise earlier this offseason when the Cleveland Browns released Ogbo Okoronkwo.
The Philadelphia Eagles are the beneficiaries.
On Tuesday, the Eagles announced they were signing the pass rusher who has 17 career sacks in the NFL.
Okoronkwo entered the NFL in 2018 as a fifth-round pick of the Rams.
He has those 17.0 sacks out of 31 tackles for loss in a career that has so far been spent for the Rams, Texans and Browns
In 2023, Okoronkwo had 4.5 sacks for Cleveland, and that dropped to 3.0 in 2024.
He's 30 years old now.

The Eagles also signed defensive tackle Jordan Sykes.
Sykes was a Harvard football player before closing his college career at UCLA. He got a look as an undrafted player with the Seahawks, then spent two seasons with the UFL's San Antonio Brahmas.
Okoronkwo's pedigree would suggest he has a much higher chance of making the final Philadelphia roster than Sykes. It'll be up to him to translate his athletic talents into summer production to earn a roster spot with the defending Super Bowl champs.
